Três Porquinhos Brasileiros, adaptação do clássico infantil feita pelo escritor Luiz Antonio Simas, com ilustrações de Bozó Bacamarte, se passa entre o sertão e a mata. Narrada em versos, nesta versão que segue a tradição da literatura de cordel, Cícero adora tocar viola e seu irmão Heitor é o mestre da folia. Já o engenheiro Prático não quer saber de nada que não seja trabalhar, trabalhar, trabalhar. Aqui, quem ameaça os porquinhos não é um lobo mau, mas a onça pintada.

Se no clássico original, a moral da história tem o intuito de ensinar às crianças o valor do trabalho e da perseverança, no cordel de Simas, a lição é o poder da alegria, do afeto e da fé na festa. Narrated in verses, this version follows the tradition of cordel literature. Cícero loves playing the viola, and his brother Heitor is the master of revelry. Meanwhile, Engineer Prático wants nothing more than to work, work, work. Here, the threat to the little pigs is not a big bad wolf but a jaguar.

While the original classic aims to teach children the value of hard work and perseverance, in Simas' cordel, the lesson is about the power of joy, affection, and faith in celebration.
